The February Paper Pumpkin kit makes really cute fold-out cards that fit into a box that reminds me of a Crayola crayon box. It comes with a fabulous set of stamps and TWO colors of ink. You can make your own backgrounds with the stamps.
And the felt pieces that are leftover after you remove the letters make a cute card – you just need a few extra supplies, such as Whisper White cardstock. These cards will fit in a regular letter size envelope and hold cash or checks or even a homemade gift certificate. What a cute way to pay the dog sitter or your hair stylist, right?
I put a bit of Designer Series Paper behind the felt. Before attaching it to the card base, I used one of the stamps in the kit to make a bit of background.
In this one I used one of the stamps in the kit to make my own “Designer Series Paper” Using the dot stamp in both ink colors, I just randomly stamped on the piece of Whisper White cardstock before attaching it to the card base.
This is my favorite! The Tag a Bag Gift Box is the exact size of the leftover felt piece after a bit of trimming! I mounted the felt on Designer Series Paper from “Birthday Bash” set. Then I stamped the sentiment on a scrap of Whisper White using a Tangelo Twist inkspot from a previous Paper Pumpkin kit. Then I cut out a few banner strips from the DSP. I used glue dot on the back of an In Color Clothespin to attach the little topper on the box. Hello Honey is close enough to the Crushed Curry color in the DSP.
